I hope everyone had a good rest because we are going to start running... Note: Independent study only: Please download Audacity. Your job today is to make sure you have this app downloaded. Please follow directions posted on Week 3. Head to Thursday - Friday August 26-27, 2021. If you have any questions, please email me. You will need to come up with something to podcast about. You will need to come up with the answers to the following questions
What is the title to your podcast?
What is your podcast about?
What do you want to say in your short 8-15min. recording?
Also, who is your audience (and why)?
Try to think outside the box. Please email me the responds.

If Audacity has been downloaded on your computer. Do the following...
When you are finished, please head to week 3 on Success Academy tab and complete the tutorial for Audacity (meaning, just watch the video and learn how to uses the app)
IN-CLASS STUDENTS. PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING:
Part 1:
Practicing in Partners, 30 mins
Break up into smaller groups. With another partner (meaning you and someone else):
Designate a Partner 1 and Partner 2 in each set. Set a timer for 15 mins.
Part 2:
Directions:
Partner 1: Ask your partner about the one thing they are most PROUD of. It could be something at home, it could be something at school, it could be something athletic -- it doesn’t matter. Once they’ve answered, keep asking questions about their response until the timer goes off.
Note: Below are some questions to get you started. Please improvise your own questions.
Define: improvise: to create and perform (music, drama, or verse) spontaneously or without preparation.
When the timer goes off, turn off the recording and switch.
Part 3:
Partner 2, now start recording again -- and ask Partner 1 the thing they’re most proud of.
Don’t stop asking questions until the timer goes off.
When the timer goes off, turn off the recording.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO FINISH UP EARLY, PLEASE GO ON YOUTUBE AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO INCORPORATE BACKGROUND NOISE ON YOUR RECORDED VOICES....

Some of you are done with your scripting, some of you are now recoding your podcast, and some of you like cats/doggies. Please read through everything before you start. There is different things for each group to do, depending where you are. For groups that are done with their script: Please continue podcasting. Just go head first and learn for your mistakes. Talk to one another and see what works and what doesn't work. I am here to help and guide you be SUCCESSFUL!!! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST ASK (LIKE IN EVERYTHING IN LIFE)!!! For those of you how are still writing your script: Keep at it. Keep going! You can do it! Part 1:
I want a rough draft of what you have. A USB will be floating around. I will be collecting any audio you have saved on your computer and I will be grading it. For those of you who have not started their recording- don't panic! :o
You all should have access to google classroom. Your team will upload your script into your Success Academy classroom folder.
Part 2:
Keep working on your Podcast. I will be walking around trying to identify what YOUR team's next step is....
